Hi there! My name is Alexander Kluge from naii.io, and I’m a voiceover artist and entrepreneur from Berlin, Germany. I’ve been working in the voiceover industry since 2017, and I spent a year working on my demo reel. I never got it done… shame on me I know. Now I’m producing a new demo reel each month to also prove to myself that I can do it.
I recently started a new podcast called This Podcast is Full of Ads where I gather and share what I want to be the best and most entertaining demo reels (that I’m capable of) and tips for demo-reel producers each month.
I have three goals for this show & newsletter:
Entertainment that respects your time. Have fun and enjoy listening to 2-minute demo reels while you’re intrigued by how well it’s made, inspired by the story, and willing to expand your demo-reel horizon.
Learning and teaching. Get tips and best practices to create an outstanding demo reel. I’m using this podcast/newsletter as a place to share my various thoughts, tips, and insights related to voiceover to help you be a better VO artist and demo-reel producer.
Save you time. I find and share the most interesting demo-reel production tips and related voiceover news each month so you don’t have to.
You’re charging for this?
Yes. Beginning in May 2020, I will publish a „light” version of the show each month for free via Transistor.fm, but I’ll be publishing a longer and more detailed „full” version for paying subscribers here on Substack. Subscriptions will be $7/month or $70/year.
My hope is to create a direct relationship with my audience and provide something valuable for you each month in exchange for a little bit of financial support. This is something I’ve been thinking heavily about for years, so I’ll be sharing my thoughts in a blog post soon.
